The Wind Rose will be collaborating with Lake Grove Presbyterian Church on February 28th for a free workshop about spiritual burnout in parenting. Join us for a nourishing day that bears witness to the intense mental, physical, and spiritual exhaustion that is common to our experience as parents.  Together, we will explore the invisible work of parenting in a way that is deeper, grittier, and more real than is typical in our culture, fully acknowledging both the joy of parenting as well as the suffering and sacrifice it demands of us.  Through deep reflection and prayer, inspiring and honest dialogue, as well as shared laughter and tears, we will be at common cause in nurturing our weary spirits as we affirm the Christ-like dignity of parenthood.
